MANDATORY PARENT MEETING - March 14, 2017 - 7:30P.M.
There is a mandatory parent/guardian meeting will be in the West Leyden Choir Room.
You and your parent/guardian must be present at this meeting for you to travel with the Leyden Music Department to NYC.

Criteria
- 10-12 graders must be enrolled in Bel Canto Chorale, A Cappella Choir or Varsity Choir.
- You must be earning an A or B in the above mentioned curricular music class.
- You must have NO unexcused absences from any performance.
- You must have a clear record from the Dean of Students

The proposed Leyden Choir NYC Tour will take place between March 25, 2017 – March 29, 2017.
Official Departure Date: Saturday, March 25, 2017

Late payment policy:
Each school day your payment is late you will be assessed a $10 late fee.
Any student who is more than 5 days late on a payment will be removed from the tour due to the large waiting list.
PLEASE NOTE: All late fees must be paid by Mar. 17.

Cancellation Policy
- The initial deposit is non-refundable.
- 50% of subsequent payments will be refunded prior to Oct. 14, 2016.
- No money will be refunded after Oct. 28, 2016.
Fundraising
- All outstanding music department obligations must be paid before students can use their fundraising account money.
- All fundraising account money will be taken off the last payment(s) and may not be used for the first payments UNLESS you can pay for your entire trip via your fundraising account at that payment date.

Luggage
Each student will be allowed 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on bag. Each student room will have 1 garment bag with their performance attire in it.
Spending Money in NYC
Students will need some extra spending cash for some meals, snacks and/or souvenirs. A good estimate for what a student NEEDS is $100. If you like to shop, or want to bring back some souvenirs, etc., you may want to bring some more money.
Roommates
Begin to think about who you would like to room with. There will be 4 students in each female room. There will be 3 male rooms of 3 and 1 male room of 4.
Each room is responsible for providing a GARMENT BAG to hold your performance attire. You need 1 garment bag for your entire room.
